Andrew Slavin

After spending too long in educational establishments, and with a Ph.D. in Astrophysics to his name, Andrew made the career change from astronomy to business conferences in 1997. He has produced successful business-to-business events across the world in telecommunications, broadcasting, financial communications, media and energy.
Since 2005 Andrew has primarily focused on events related to climate change and renewable energy. In 2009 he co-founded Canadian Clean Energy Conferences with Adrienne Baker to support a shift to a low-carbon economy in Canada.

With degrees from McGill and Concordia, Adrienne Baker spent seven years in financial journalism reporting for and editing several publications including Investor Relations Magazine, Corporate Secretary, Communicate Magazine and CEO Magazine.
As editor-in-chief of Investor Relations Magazine, Adrienne was increasingly writing about CSR issues and chairing conferences on corporate response to climate change. That’s when she decided to switch gears and focus entirely on producing sustainability events. Adrienne co-founded Canadian Clean Energy Conferences in 2009.
